Treatments at Vida Massage are carried out by Cristina Bustamante who is a fully qualified therapist specialising in Traditional Massage and Bowen Therapy.

Cristina's qualifications include ITEC diplomas in Anatomy & Physiology, Massage and Indian Head Massage as well as diplomas and certificates in Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Ayurvedic Bodywork, Traditional Indonesian Massage, Thai Foot Massage, Lymphatic Massage for People with Cancer, Pregnancy Massage, Reiki and Hopi Ear Candles, Bamboo Massage and Bowen Therapy. She is a student of Equine Bowen Therapy.

Cristina is a member of the Complementary Therapists Association (CthA), Embody, BTER (Bowen Therapy European Register) and the Ayurvedic Institute of Europe. Full therapy insurance is provided by Holistic Insurance Service.

About Bowen Therapy

Bowen Therapy, also known as The Bowen Technique originated from Australia by Tom Bowen. It is a gentle non evasive body work therapy, which works holistically and can treat many different ailments and conditions. Bowen is suitable for all, from young babies, to the elderly as well as pregnancy and people who are undergoing medical treatment. Bowen works on soft tissue by stimulating the facia which covers our muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves. Treatment can benefit a whole range of conditions including structural and postural, alignment and gait as well as systematic conditions such as asthma.
